Protecting West Virginia Workers
-Passed a bill which lowered the business franchise tax to help encourage new business growth in West Virginia.
-Voted to pass fiscally-responsible budgets including paying $1.8 billion towards unfunded pensions. West Virginia has had a budget surplus the past five years when others state are cutting budgets and raising taxes.
-Cut taxes which include reducing the food tax by 50% to helping working families.
-Voted to double the property tax credit for seniors.
