About Doug Reynolds

A successful attorney and entrepreneur, Doug Reynolds was born in Huntington where he now resides with his wife, Maria, and their two small children. Doug is a graduate of Wayne County High School and earned a bachelors degree in political science from Duke University. A graduate of the West Virginia University College of Law, he was admitted to the West Virginia State Bar in 2002.

After law school, Doug took a position with the Cabell County Public Defender’s Office where he counseled those who could not afford legal representation. After leaving the Public Defender’s Office, he started his own law firm focusing on the needs of small businesses.

Doug has worked tirelessly toward investing in people and business. He is the founder and director of First Bank of Charleston, a community bank chartered on the principles of providing financing for small, start-up businesses.

Active in his community, Doug serves on the boards of the United Way of the River Cities, Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs of Huntington, Prestera Foundation, and the City of Huntington Foundation.
